The KX-65 swingarm is fabricated from 6061 aluminum. To
eliminate stress, all material is brought to a fully annealed "T0" condition prior to forming. Once formed and welded, the swingarms are fixtured and heat-treated to the "T6" condition for maximum strength. The swingarms are then bright dipped and/or anodized per customer request.
While substantially reducing weight, the KX-65 swingarm
boasts increased strength and rigidity. Standard bearings, chain gaurd, and axle adjust brackets are utilized for easy installation and service.
