Novation Racing Inc., the largest
manufacturer of aftermarket swingarms, is now offering their hand made alloy swingarms to the vintage motocross racing community. As with all our alloy arms, our vintage products are fabricated from 6061 aircraft aluminum. To eliminate stress, all components are brought to a fully annealed "T0" condition prior to forming. Once formed and welded, the swingarms are fixtured and heat treated to the "T6" condition for maximum strength. The swingarms are then bright dipped and/or anodized per the customer's request.
Improvements such as replacing original
swingarm bushings with needle bearings, the use of contemporary chain guards and the availability of contemporary chain guides are incorporated where applicable.
Along with the standard models shown on
this page, Novation Racing can manufacture an alloy arm for most any vintage bike. This requires the customer to send in their stock swingarm for measurement. |
